If you only have one stillwater fly the Doc Spratley Red is the one to have. Easily the first fly we pull out of our boxes and usually troll on the way to our fishing spots. From there it is either left on by itself or we've seen what the hatch is and put a dry fly (like our
Goddard Caddis) on top as a catch-able indicator. Great for use with trout, steelhead and even smallmouth bass.
